The Wheel of Fortune host is spinning into 2026, returning as the emcee for Dick Clark's New Year’s Rockin’ Eve with Ryan Seacrest. This marks the 21st year with Seacrest at the helm of the annual televised celebration.

The party is even bigger this year, as New Year's Rockin' Eve broadcasts from multiple cities and time zones, with special co-hosts and a lineup of performers on hand to help count down to midnight.

For the New York City celebration, Diana Ross will be the headliner, performing a medley of some of her most iconic hits. Other artists taking the stage in the Big Apple include Maren Morris, Little Big Town, Ciara and LE SSERAFIM.

Mariah Carey, 50 Cent, Demi Lovato and more will be performing from Las Vegas, while Post Malone and Chappell Roan are set to perform from Nashville and Kansas City, respectively. Daddy Yankee will also help ring in the New Year from Puerto Rico, per Billboard.

Seacrest is returning to host Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve for the 21st time. Helping him will be another familiar face to New Year's Rockin' Eve viewers: Rita Ora. This is the third time the pop star will co-host the telecast with Seacrest.

"I am grateful to be here," Ora told PEOPLE in 2024 about returning to host. "I love Ryan — having him just be with me and give me that sense of confidence is amazing."

The feeling is mutual, with Seacrest telling PEOPLE he "was blown away" by Ora's hosting abilities. "I knew she was talented, but this is not something you can just do," he said.

Seacrest and Ora will be in charge of celebrations in N.Y.C., but New Year's Rockin' Eve will be partying it up in cities across the U.S. — with different hosts for each location.

Chance the Rapper and Jamila Woods will host from Chicago, while retired NFL star Rob Gronkowski and Dancing with the Stars host Julianne Hough will be at the helm in Las Vegas. Meanwhile, singer and Fantasy Island star Roselyn Sánchez will host from Puerto Rico.

Times Square New Year's Eve 2025

Times Square in N.Y.C. will be the main hub for Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve with Ryan Seacrest 2026, but the celebrations will be happening from coast to coast.

For the first time in the show's history, New Year's Rockin' Eve will have a dedicated countdown to midnight in the Central time zone, broadcasting from the Chicago Riverwalk.

In a press release, per Variety, Barry Adelman, EVP of Television for Dick Clark Productions, said that spotlighting Chicago “marks an exciting new chapter for the show and lets us share this iconic American city’s incredible energy, culture and spirit with millions of viewers across the country."

In addition to N.Y.C. and Chicago, Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve with Ryan Seacrest 2026 will also broadcast live from Las Vegas and Puerto Rico.
