The new season of The Masked Singer is going to be "Golden."

KPop Demon Hunters fever has taken over the world, including the set of the hit Fox singing competition series. The Masked Singer season 14 premieres on Jan. 7, kicking off with panelist Rita Ora performing the single "Golden" from the award-winning animated movie.

Ora is back as a judge on The Masked Singer, and so is Jenny McCarthy, Ken Jeong, Robin Thicke and host Nick Cannon. With a new season of The Masked Singer comes a new crop of imaginative costumes for the celebrity vocalists to disguise themselves in.

The fresh batch of episodes also features a first for the competition: a role known as "America’s Insider," where Descendants star Kylie Cantrall will be competing, but only viewers will know her identity, while the panelists will be left guessing throughout the season.

In a January 2026 Collider interview, Cannon teased that the debut would be "different from normal."

"It was just such a big episode, a big premiere," he continued. "There were a lot of reveals. A lot happened, shall we say."

The number of episodes in The Masked Singer season 14 has not been confirmed, but 18 contestants will compete for the coveted golden mask trophy.

According to Entertainment Weekly, some of the new characters vying for the award include Queen Corgi, Cat Witch, Galaxy Girl and Owl, among others.

Per Variety, season 14 will feature several themed episodes inspired by pop culture franchises such as Star Trek, Twilight, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and Care Bears, along with the '90s classics Clueless and Spice Girls.

There will also be a special “Ozzfest," honoring the legacy of legendary rocker Ozzy Osbourne, featuring a special tribute by his daughter, Kelly Osbourne, who previously competed on The Masked Singer as the Ladybug, in season 2.

A weekly episode release schedule for The Masked Singer season 14 hasn't been revealed, but the Jan. 7 premiere will feature Ora performing "Golden" from the hit animated movie KPop Demon Hunters — which her fellow panelist Jeong voiced a role in.

The second episode — airing Jan. 14 — is "Fear Night," with a special appearance by Johnny Knoxville, the host of Fox's new Fear Factor reboot titled Fear Factor: House of Fear.

Fear Factor: House of Fear will premiere on Jan. 14, following The Masked Singer.
