This week’s Paramount+ releases bring Ryan Gosling and Michelle Williams’ simmering romance and more.

Arriving on August 30, Blue Valentine follows Dean and Cindy, a working-class couple whose love story unfolds in two timelines. The 2010 romantic drama shows the tender, hopeful beginning of their relationship, then jumps years ahead to its slow, painful unraveling.

The film stars Ryan Gosling as Dean Pereira and Michelle Williams as Cynthia “Cindy” Heller Pereira, the working-class couple at its center. Faith Wladyka plays their daughter Frankie, while Mike Vogel appears as Bobby Ontario, Cindy’s ex-boyfriend, and John Doman portrays Jerry Heller, Cindy’s father.
