Everybody loves Patricia Heaton for her authenticity.
The 68-year-old actress has been embracing a new gray-hair look, which she recently defended after receiving a comment criticizing her for being "too young" for the hairstyle. However, the positivity has outweighed the hate.
"The people in my life love me no matter what color my hair is, and maybe we could all use a little more of just accepting what is and being grateful," she said in the May 27 post, which she also captioned with "#agingauthentically" and "#silverfox."

"I honestly thought my little clapback post was just me venting for a moment. I never expected it to resonate the way it did," she began. "Reading your comments, messages, and seeing so many people come to my defense has been incredibly moving."

"It reminded me that sometimes speaking your truth doesn't just help you — it gives others permission to do the same. Thank you for the support, the kindness, and for reminding me that there are far more good people out there than not. I see you, I appreciate you, and I'm grateful for every one of you," she continued.
Heaton, who starred in the hit sitcom Everybody Loves Raymond from 1996 to 2005, is among a confident group of women who've embraced their grays. Celebrities who've empowered others to rock the style include Helen Mirren, Jamie Lee Curtis and Salma Hayek.
