It cannot be denied that the MCU has often brought back cast members to take on different roles in newer projects. For years, Robert Downey Jr. took on the role of Iron Man and became a fan favorite. Iron Man’s tragic fate at the end of Avengers: Endgame devastated the viewers.
However, the MCU decided to bring Robert Downey Jr. back as Victor Von Doom in the upcoming movie, Doomsday, which is set to release later this year. While the speculations regarding the cast of the upcoming X-Men movie started among the fans, many indicated the possibility of bringing Iron Fist star Tom Pelphrey as Professor X.

However, Tom Pelphrey also adds that “regardless of the specifics," the aspect of being in the “conversation for those kinds of roles” is “incredible”. Tom Pelphrey took on the role of Ward Meachum in Iron Fist and delivered a distinct performance.
