Melissa Gilbert issued a bold reaction to a club remix pf the Little House on the Prairie theme song created by RuPaul's Drag Race star Trixie Mattel.

On Saturday, Jan. 3, the actress who played Laura Ingalls Wilder on the beloved historical drama series issued a direct response to the new take on LHOTP's iconic intro music.

"I watched the whole thing on @youtube. Such fun!! Thank you @trixiemattel," Giblert, 61, declared on Instagram in a repost of Mattel's Dec. 31 Instagram update. The RuPaul's Drag Race All Stars Season 3 winner also told fans in his caption, "My Little House remix is available now on YouTube and SoundCloud."

Additionally, Gilbert declared, "The. Best. Ever!" in the comments of Mattel's post.

In the comments of Mattel's post, many other LHOTP fans voiced their approval of the remix, with one exclaiming, "Yesss! Give us DJ Nellie Oleson! 🪩👧."

Another follower admitted, "You had me at Little House, but then you made it dance, and now I’m dying! 🙌🏼✨❤️."

Someone else pointed out, "Little House on The Prairie ❌ The Legendary House of Prairie ✅," as another joked, "U made 😂Prairie house."

A different Instagram user shared, "2026 is for Little House on the Prairie drag."

Another of Mattel's followers commented, "Got lil Laura Ingalls Wilder throwing that thang in a circle."

Meanwhile, yet another fam wrote, "OMFG! I’m dying… Babe! Hold onto your bonnet, a re-boot is coming soon, y’all!!!!"

Little House on the Prairie aired for nine seasons from 1974 to 1983. Currently, Netflix is in the process of a reboot series; a premiere date has not yet been announced.
