Kyle Kennedy, one of Robert F. Kennedy and Ethel Kennedy's grandchildren, passed away at age 42. She died in her home in Westwood, Massachusetts, according to an online obituary.

Kyle was the daughter of Michael Kennedy and Victoria Denise Gifford. While she kept her life largely private, she garnered national attention in 2012 when her cousin Conor Kennedy allegedly crashed her wedding with his then-girlfriend, Taylor Swift. However, the pop megastar has always denied the claims.

The mother of the bride stated that Conor was invited to her daughter's wedding to Liam Kerr, but failed to RSVP. “[Swift and Conor] texted me an hour before the wedding and asked if they could come. I responded with a very clear ‘Please do not come.’ They came anyway,” she told the Boston Herald. This comes after Taylor Swift shows off massive $1 million wedding ring while cheering on husband.

“I personally went up to Ms. Swift, whose entrance distracted the entire event, politely introduced myself to her and asked her as nicely as I could to leave,” she stated, according to PEOPLE. “It was like talking to a ghost. She seemed to look right past me.”

However, Taylor's representative, Paula Erickson, rubbished the claims. “Taylor was invited to the wedding and the bride thanked her profusely for being there,” she said.

Kyle, however, has dealt with bigger challenges of her own over the last few years. She lost her daughter Josie just days after she was born, and was left paralyzed after falling prey to a severe spinal cord injury in 2020, according to TMZ.
