Fran Drescher wowed at the 2026 Actor Awards in a 1920s-inspired look

The ensemble adhered to the ceremony's first-ever red carpet dress code, "Reimagining Hollywood Glamour from the ’20s and ’30s"

Drescher is nominated as part of the Marty Supreme ensemble

Fran Drescher is still that flashy girl from Flushing!

On Sunday, March 1, the 68-year-old actress arrived at the 2026 Actors Awards in a head-turning ensemble that adheres to the ceremony's first-ever red carpet theme.

The Marty Supreme star appeared in a black sequin column dress with a black top hat and pink feathered shawl. She also added black pumps and a black clutch purse.

Drescher shared a snap of her look on Instagram before heading to the carpet.

"On my way to The Actor Awards on Netflix this evening! And the cast of Marty Supreme is nominated Best Ensemble! For 4 years I’ve gone as President and the 5th year a Nominee!!!! Wish me luck!🤞🙏🏻👏," the actress, who served as the president of the SAG-AFTRA actors' union from Sept. 2021 through Sept, 2025, captioned the post.

This year's 2026 Actors Awards (what was previously known as the Screen Actors Guild Awards) enforced a dress code for the first time in the event's 31-year history. Elle, the fashion publication partnered with the Actor Awards, announced on Jan. 15 that it has instituted an "official red carpet dress code" with its own theme: “Reimagining Hollywood Glamour from the ’20s and ’30s."

According to the outlet, the very Met Gala-like rule will draw inspiration "from an era defined by cinematic elegance and bold expression."

"The dress code aligns with the overall creative vision of this year’s show and invites attendees to reexamine classic ideas of glamour reimagined for a modern red carpet."

Elle noted that viewers can expect to see "sensual gowns, dramatic silhouettes, and fluid, boundary-pushing designs, all inspired by the timeless Art Deco spirit that defined early Hollywood," on the red carpet.

The SAG Awards were renamed to "provide clearer recognition in terms of what the show is about for our domestic and global audiences — we honor actors in film and television. Laser-focusing the name on those two things became the clearest and most straightforward path for this new chapter of the show." the show's official website reads.

Among the stars nominated for this year are Timothée Chalamet, Emma Stone, Teyana Taylor, Ariana Grande and Michael B. Jordan. Harrison Ford will be presented with the SAG-AFTRA Life Achievement Award.
