Former Vanderpump Rules star Brett Caprioni, who filmed for the show's eighth season, is getting married.
Entertainment Now reported that Caprioni and his now-fiancée, YouTuber and social media influencer, Carli Bybel, are engaged. Bybel shared the big news with her 4.7 million Instagram followers in a January 2 post. The Instagram upload featured several pictures of Bybel showing off her engagement ring.
"Easiest yes of my life!!!!!! We’re engaged!!!!!! #loveofmylife 12.31.25," read the caption of the post.
Caprioni shared a message to Bybel in the post's comments section, writing, "Forever isn’t long enough!! You are and always will be my dream come true I love you."
Caprioni's former Vanderpump Rules castmateScheana Shay also reacted to Bybel's post.
"Congrats you two!!!!!! Sooooooo happy for yall!" commented Shay.
Brett Caprioni & Carli Bybel Announced They Got Back Together in October 2025
Entertainment Now reported that Caprioni and Bybel broke up in 2017 after four years of dating. According to the publication, Bybel explained why she and Caprioni ended their romance while filming a November 2017 YouTube video. She stated that "people change and people grow apart." In addition, Bybel said that "there comes a time when you need to worry about you and your happiness, and that needs to come first and foremost." She also assured her fans that she believed the breakup "is the best thing for both of us at this point in our lives."
Caprioni announced he and Bybel had gotten back together in an October 2025 Instagram upload, in celebration of the latter's 35th birthday. In the caption, he said he had difficulty with his breakup from Bybel in 2017. According to the former SUR employee, he said he "always knew [they] had something you couldn’t just move on from, no matter how long the universe would keep [them] apart."
"I knew we were destined to find each other again because to put it simply, our love was too real," wrote the former Bravo star.
He also said that even though he tried to move on, Bybel was always at the forefront of his mind. In addition, he wrote, while he longed to be with Bybel, he's thankful they had "time apart."
"We’ve both really learned so much and I’m so thankful for that. Eight years later and I’d still do it all over again if it lead me back to you. I’d wait a lifetime if I had to," continued Caprioni in his caption.

In a December 2025 YouTube video, Caprioni and Bybel explained how they started dating again. Bybel, who resides in New Jersey, explained she visited the restaurant where Caprioni works at in August 2025. Bybel, who has a four-year-old son, Lorenzo, with her ex, Anthony Tango, shared that she didn't let Caprioni know she was going to his place of work. However, she revealed she "wore like a really hot outfit on purpose" to catch his eye.
Caprioni, who also lives in New Jersey, said he was elated to see Bybel again, and the pair made plans to "grab dinner and just catch up." The couple said that they've been inseparable ever since.
"We went for dinner and then within like five minutes, I was just like looking at him and I was like, 'I just love him,'" said Bybel in her YouTube video.
