A newly released photo related to Jeffrey Epstein‘s investigation files has put ex-Prince Andrew back in the spotlight, showing him sitting with Epstein in a bathrobe. The photo shows Andrew with Epstein and British diplomat Peter Mandelson. They appear to be hanging out during a casual and private moment that investigators say took place years before Epstein’s 2019 death.

Fox News reported that ex-Prince Andrew’s bathrobe photo with Jeffrey Epstein came out through the Department of Justice and likely dates to 1999 or 2000 during the time they spent together at Martha’s Vineyard. In the picture, Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor and Mandelson appear barefoot, wearing white bathrobes as they sit with Epstein at a wooden patio. Moreover, the scene includes mugs that Fox News said feature American flag designs.
The outlet reported that it contacted representatives for Andrew and Mandelson for comment, adding that Buckingham Palace previously told Fox News Digital it does not speak for Andrew because he is no longer a working royal.

This resurfaced photo has come at a time when British authorities are continuing to look into Andrew’s alleged links to Epstein. British authorities arrested Andrew in February on suspicion of misconduct in public office, with emails released as part of the DOJ files allegedly showing Andrew sending Epstein details related to official trade visits.
Additionally, Fox News reported that other U.K. agencies have reviewed related claims, including the Metropolitan Police. In a statement that the outlet previously obtained, the Met said, “Separately, the Met is identifying and contacting former and serving officers who may have worked closely, in a protection capacity, with Andrew Mountbatten‑Windsor.”
The statement added, “We continue to urge anyone with new or relevant information to come forward.” As the scrutiny into the broader Epstein network continues, the new bathrobe photo seems to highlight ex-Prince Andrew’s connection to Jeffrey Epstein.
