Donald Trump has been labeled "deranged" and accused of "thirsting over buttocks" after once again lavishing praise on Senator Jon Husted's physique.
The 80-year-old president was addressing a rally for Republican Senate candidate Michael Whatley in Greenville, North Carolina, on Tuesday when he unexpectedly launched into an enthusiastic description of the Ohio senator's build.
"I'm studying his body, I've never studied the body of a man before, it's not my thing," Trump told the crowd, referencing Husted, who is currently locked in a competitive midterms battle in traditionally Republican Ohio. "Nothing wrong with it of course, I always proceeded by saying 'nothing wrong,' but it's never been my thing to be honest with you," the president added.

Trump went on: "But I looked at his a-- and then I looked at his legs, I said his a--, 's---, it's like a pile of muscle' And then I looked at his legs and I said, 'man, his feet are big,' then I looked at his shoulders and I tapped him on the shoulder and it actually hurt my hand. It was like a piece of steal. I said, 'this guy's a monster.'".

Trump delivered comparable remarks about Husted during an Ohio rally earlier this month. "I started examining his body, because I didn't know he was a great athlete!" Trump told the crowd at that rally.
"And I looked, I watched up and down. I looked at his a--, I looked at the whole... and then I looked at his hands. Look at his hands, he's got this, like, claws!" The president added. Critics have accused Trump of showing signs of "disinhibition" after his latest "disturbing" remarks about Husted.

"He curses constantly now. Another sign of disinhibition, along with thirsting over shapely male buttocks," one X user wrote.
"He sounds so aroused while describing this it's disturbing," a second noted. "So we're back on talking about men's bodies with Uncle Dementia. I bet John Husted is not thrilled," a third commented.
"This is a crazier, gayer, more deranged version of what he spewed out the other day. How can his deteriorated brain not grasp how absolutely bizarre and cringeworthy this is? ! ? !" Another questioned.
This isn't the first occasion Trump has praised another man's looks. He's previously described Prince William as "very handsome," called Jaxson Dart, quarterback for the New York Giants football team, a "beautiful guy" with "legs like tree trunks", and earlier this year made observations about Coast Guard graduates' muscles and physique.
