Cara Delevingne revealed how she ended up in Taylor Swift’s music video for “Patient Zero.”

In an interview with Bustle, the model and musician spoke about how the “genius” pop megastar recruited her for the visual.

“I remember hearing [the song] for the first time and going, ‘How long is it going to be until this song comes out? I can’t wait to have it on repeat,’” Delevingne, 34, told the outlet.

She continued, “I remember her calling me up with the idea for the video when I was driving home.”

Delevingne was immediately on board.

“I love working with friends,” she said. “It’s the most incredible thing. But the scope of it, the idea, every single detail, the Easter eggs, all of it — it’s unfathomable how someone can do all of those things and do them so well.”

The “Lights Up” artist added of the 14-time Grammy winner, “She’s a genius, she really is.”

The “Patient Zero” music video, directed by Swift and featuring the work of Oscar-winning cinematographer Emmanuel Lubezki, stars the “Opalite” singer, as well as Dakota Johnson and Colin Farrell.

In the visual, Farrell, 50, plays Swift’s toxic ex, who is now romantically involved with Johnson, 37, who leans on the “Fortnight” performer for support while also telling the story of her own relationship’s downfall.

Delevingne portrayed the other woman that Farrell was cheating on Johnson with in the visual. Meanwhile, L.A. Rams quarterback and his wife Kelly — who attended Swift’s July wedding to Travis Kelce — also made cameos in the video.
