The Batman: Part II is currently filming in Glasgow, and it is expected to continue for a while. A recent leaked set video shows the Batmobile surrounded by Gotham PD squad cars and officers. Based on what we see here, we can expect to see Batman in the Gotham police headquarters right after this scene in the final version of the movie.
As of now, we don't know who the villain of the second movie is yet, but we know that the movie is set in winter. Moreover, rumors continue to circulate that Harvey Dent is in the movie and that Sebastian Stan is playing the former Gotham City DA turned supervillain in The Batman sequel.
What happens in the latest The Batman: Part II set video?
The Batman: Part II set video begins with some gun-wielding police officers opening fire on the Batmobile. But since the vehicle is bulletproof, the firing doesn't cause any damage to the car. As the gun-wielding officers are forced to retreat by the Batmobile, it is surrounded by the rest of the Gotham PD, including cars. In the finished movie, we can expect this chase scene to end with the Batman's arrest or some sort of summons to the police station.
What do we know about the second movie?
The sequel began filming almost four years after the first movie's release. MCU actors like Sebastian Stan, Brian Tyree Henry, and Scarlett Johansson are a part of The Batman: Part II's cast. Sebastian Stan's role is one of the most speculated aspects of the second movie. Last week, Stan was interviewed by the French newspaper Le Journal du Dimanche.

In that interview the actor supposedly confirmed that he is playing Harvey Dent in the movie while discussing this December's MCU epic Avengers: Doomsday. However, it was later confirmed that Stan never confirmed that he is Harvey Dent in The Batman follow-up. While discussing Doomsday, Stan said to the French outlet:
"Honestly, I have absolutely no idea. Because we didn’t have a script. We were just shooting scattered scenes. It’s a different way of working, continuous, constantly evolving. The producers didn’t want us to read it in its entirety, to avoid journalists asking us questions. (Laughs.) I’ve been following that rule for fifteen years now, I’m used to it."
Then, the actor brought up The Batman sequel:
"I also can’t say anything about “Matt Reeves’ The Batman: Part II .” The beauty of this profession also lies in participating in projects of this scale, which I love as a viewer."
Therefore, it is unclear if Stan is playing Harvey Dent or Victor Zsasz in The Batman sequel. However, one thing is clear: even if Dent appears in the sequel, we probably won't see him transform in Two Face in the movie. Matt Reeves told Josh Horowitz last September that the second movie will have a villain who has never been seen in a Batman movie before.
Considering that Two Face was seen in Batman Forever and The Dark Knight, we can expect to see this version of Dent's transformation into Two Face on a later date.
The Batman: Part II releases in theaters across the world on February 18, 2028.
