As she prepares to host *Saturday Night Live UK*, actress Aimee Lou Wood is having a laugh over her former *Saturday Night Live* controversy after she called out the American edition of the sketch comedy series for including a segment that she felt mocked her teeth.

The 32-year-old Emmy-nominated *White Lotus* actress appeared in a pre-taped sketch mocking the scandal, which saw Wood speak out against *SNL* for including a scene in a 2025 satirical short called *The White Potus* starring Sarah Sherman — wearing a large set of false teeth — as Wood.

British network Sky TV's clip (below) begins with Wood approaching the *SNL UK* cast — all of whom cover their mouths — on set, while actor Paddy Young advises them, "Guys, she's gonna know," before Wood walks over.**

"I'm so excited, I can't wait to get started! You know, especially after the whole thing in America with the teeth. It's going to feel good to just wipe the slate clean," Wood tells them as they keep their hands over their mouths.

Wood inquires as to why, and eventually comes to a conclusion as she asks, "Have you guys got fake teeth in? Wow, this is all just one big setup to humiliate me then. I thought *SNL UK* would be different, but I was wrong."

It's later revealed that the cast is simply wearing fake mustaches, and they eventually give one to Wood.

The *White Lotus* actress made headlines in 2025 after she publicly slammed *SNL* for putting false teeth on Sherman for the bit, which also starred Jon Hamm and Scarlett Johansson.

Wood labeled the bit "mean and unfunny," while Sherman eventually responded to the actress' backlash.

Sherman told *Vanity Fair* that she felt "terrible" for insulting Wood.

“I was excited to play her because she’s so iconic, her character is so iconic, and I f---ing obviously never meant to hurt anyone’s feelings," the *SNL* performer said. "Never in a million years did I get into comedy to make anyone upset. I feel terrible that anyone would feel bad."
